My dreamy chocolate is from See’s Candies

I wonder how it is. The word ”old” is not something desirable at any age and I remember when someone told me that being younger is an advantage, exactly when I was thinking that experience that comes in years of practice is an imbatable argument. But today, it’s about ”Famous Old Time”, the famous actually slogan that drives me into a world of indulgence, and warm, and perfect taste. It’s not easy for me to enter into a world of candies with a history longer than 100 years because it’s overwhelming just thinking about how much things have happened in so many years, but I am confident because I think that besides the perfect recipe for the best candies, the owners of this wonderful world have found the best kept secret of the success in business and they are very glad to share it with the whole world through a magic piece of chocolate made it at See’s Candies.

I have in mind Milk California Brittle, a little piece of chocolate, a buttery brittle with California almonds, crunchy, melt-in-your-mouth toffee brittle generously wrapped in rich milk chocolate. Mmmm… And Café Au Lait Truffle, a smooth, rich truffle center of white chocolate, cream and coffee covered in rich dark chocolate and decorated with milk chocolate lace. And Almond Truffle, a rich, smooth truffle center with semi-sweet and milk chocolate, enrobed in white chocolate and covered with roasted almond pieces. Or Milk Pecan Bud which are little pieces of Pecan halves with buttery caramel covered with smooth milk chocolate.
